A documentary series transports the viewer to the present and remote world of Patagonia. To the south that “Che” traveled, that astonished Darwin and Magellan.
A south of condors, guanacos and orcas; of pre-historic cave paintings, Jurassic fossils and ancient trees. Flora, fauna, and man interacting in the beautiful and severe south of South America.

Patagonia, defined as the territory from the high peaks of the Andes Mountains to the Atlantic Ocean, stretches from the 40th South Parallel to the Straits of Magellan, some 800.000 km2. An immense open-air laboratory, always attractive to scholars and travelers. The land’s heritage of natural assets transform a Patagonian pilgrimage into a quest for the origins of our world.

All beneath the Southern Cross.
